# TrailMix vs Pace

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pace at none against TrailMix's 1. Pace also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). TrailMix's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrailMix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Pace asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrailMix has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of TrailMix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pace's.

TrailMix ships an update every 3 weeks, Pace every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
