# wComics vs Chek

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chek at every 2 weeks against wComics's every 3 months. wComics's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

wComics ships an update every 3 months, Chek every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
