# Solfeggio vs 5D Waves

Solfeggio and 5D Waves both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of 5D Waves's written reviews are positive against 75% of Solfeggio's. Solfeggio's advantage is ratings volume (237 vs 9) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solfeggio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and 5D Waves sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

5D Waves holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solfeggio has 237 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Solfeggio's written reviews are positive against 100% of 5D Waves's.

Solfeggio ships an update monthly, 5D Waves every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
