# Clear Wave vs Fix My Speaker

The clearest difference is rating: Clear Wave at 4.5 against Fix My Speaker's 4.1. Clear Wave also leads on ratings volume (659 vs 15) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). Fix My Speaker's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 45%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clear Wave sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Fix My Speaker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clear Wave holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clear Wave has 659 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Clear Wave's written reviews are positive against 67% of Fix My Speaker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
