# Next Level Soul vs Spark

The clearest difference is monetization model: Spark at ad-supported against Next Level Soul's subscription. Next Level Soul's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Level Soul sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Spark sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Next Level Soul against 5.0 for Spark. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Next Level Soul has 38 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Next Level Soul ships an update every 8 days, Spark monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
