# Paltopia vs ARC Companion | Metaforge

The clearest difference is rating: Paltopia at 4.8 against ARC Companion | Metaforge's 4.0. Paltopia also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 4). ARC Companion | Metaforge's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paltopia sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. ARC Companion | Metaforge asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paltopia holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paltopia has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Paltopia's written reviews are positive against 100% of ARC Companion | Metaforge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
