# FriedrichLink vs Air Conditioner Controller

The clearest difference is rating: Air Conditioner Controller at 4.5 against FriedrichLink's 3.6. Air Conditioner Controller also leads on ratings volume (641 vs 19). FriedrichLink's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Air Conditioner Controller sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. FriedrichLink asks for nothing beyond the download.

Air Conditioner Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Air Conditioner Controller has 641 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of FriedrichLink's written reviews are positive against 3% of Air Conditioner Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FriedrichLink ships an update every 5 weeks, Air Conditioner Controller every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
