# Pal Guide vs Arc Helper

The clearest difference is price: Pal Guide at Free against Arc Helper's $1.99. Pal Guide also leads on rating (4.3 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (180 vs 7). Arc Helper's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Pal Guide is free to download; Arc Helper costs $1.99 up front. Pal Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Arc Helper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pal Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pal Guide has 180 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Pal Guide's written reviews are positive against 50% of Arc Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pal Guide ships an update every 2 days, Arc Helper every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
