# bb.q Chicken vs Dagiya

The clearest difference is update cadence: bb.q Chicken at weekly against Dagiya's every 4 months. bb.q Chicken also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 4). Dagiya's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

bb.q Chicken holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bb.q Chicken has 4.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

bb.q Chicken ships an update weekly, Dagiya every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
