# BrainDeck vs Schoolify

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrainDeck at every 6 days against Schoolify's every 4 weeks. BrainDeck also leads on ratings volume (244 vs 32). Schoolify's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainDeck sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Schoolify sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BrainDeck against 4.7 for Schoolify. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BrainDeck has 244 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of BrainDeck's written reviews are positive against 64% of Schoolify's.

BrainDeck ships an update every 6 days, Schoolify every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
