# Walk & Talk vs Cellevate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Walk & Talk at weekly against Cellevate's monthly. Walk & Talk also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Cellevate's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Walk & Talk against 5.0 for Cellevate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cellevate has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Walk & Talk ships an update weekly, Cellevate monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
