# Slicing Revolution vs Slice It

The clearest difference is update cadence: Slicing Revolution at monthly against Slice It's every 3 months. Slicing Revolution also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slicing Revolution sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Slice It sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slicing Revolution ships an update monthly, Slice It every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
