# AI Voice vs Forge

The clearest difference is rating: Forge at 5.0 against AI Voice's 4.4. Forge also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). AI Voice's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (30 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Voice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Forge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Voice has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Voice ships an update monthly, Forge every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
