# Tube PiP vs iMPlayer IPTV Player

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tube PiP at free against iMPlayer IPTV Player's free with in-app purchases. Tube PiP also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (15 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tube PiP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month and iMPlayer IPTV Player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iMPlayer IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.9K and 2.6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Tube PiP's written reviews are positive against 61% of iMPlayer IPTV Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tube PiP ships an update every 2 weeks, iMPlayer IPTV Player every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
