# Comixit! vs Nova Stories

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nova Stories at every 4 days against Comixit!'s every 2 weeks. Nova Stories also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comixit! sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Nova Stories sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comixit! ships an update every 2 weeks, Nova Stories every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
