# EMGVQA vs Grade 3 Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Grade 3 Prep at every 3 months against EMGVQA's every 14 months. EMGVQA's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EMGVQA sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Grade 3 Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EMGVQA ships an update every 14 months, Grade 3 Prep every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
