# Tik Ringtones vs RingForge

The clearest difference is ads: Tik Ringtones at none against RingForge's shown. Tik Ringtones also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). RingForge's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 17%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tik Ringtones sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and RingForge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tik Ringtones holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tik Ringtones has 201 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Tik Ringtones's written reviews are positive against 43% of RingForge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tik Ringtones ships an update weekly, RingForge every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
