# Midnight Hour vs Merbella App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Midnight Hour at none against Merbella App's 2. Midnight Hour also leads on ratings volume (205 vs 12). Merbella App's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and chart position (#110 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merbella App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Midnight Hour asks for nothing beyond the download.

Midnight Hour holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midnight Hour has 205 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Midnight Hour's written reviews are positive against 100% of Merbella App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Midnight Hour ships an update every 10 days, Merbella App every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
