# Knight Lancer vs Soul Hunter

The clearest difference is price: Knight Lancer at Free against Soul Hunter's $2.99. Knight Lancer also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 11). Soul Hunter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On rating, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Knight Lancer is free to download; Soul Hunter costs $2.99 up front. Knight Lancer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Soul Hunter sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knight Lancer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knight Lancer has 11K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Knight Lancer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Soul Hunter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Knight Lancer ships an update monthly, Soul Hunter every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
