# Like Widget vs DS Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Like Widget at 62% against DS Scanner's 6%. Like Widget also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 21). DS Scanner's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Like Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and DS Scanner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Like Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Like Widget has 1.9K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two.
