# WellToon vs CubeAni

The clearest difference is rating: CubeAni at 4.0 against WellToon's 1.0. CubeAni also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). WellToon's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WellToon sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and CubeAni sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CubeAni holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CubeAni has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WellToon ships an update fortnightly, CubeAni monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
