# USC vs PROVADA

The clearest difference is update cadence: PROVADA at every 2 months against USC's every 5 months. PROVADA also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USC ships an update every 5 months, PROVADA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 7, 2026 respectively.
