# Fan vs Predep

The clearest difference is rating: Predep at 3.4 against Fan's 1.0. Predep also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Fan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Predep sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Fan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Predep holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Predep has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fan ships an update every 6 days, Predep fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
