# Blok vs Scroll Block

The clearest difference is ads: Blok at none against Scroll Block's shown. Blok also leads on ratings volume (780 vs 67). Scroll Block's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 9 days) and review sentiment (80% vs 51%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blok sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Scroll Block sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Blok against 4.6 for Scroll Block. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blok has 780 ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Blok's written reviews are positive against 80% of Scroll Block's.

Blok ships an update every 9 days, Scroll Block daily. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
