# My Books vs Book Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Book Tracker at none against My Books's shown. My Books's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Books sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Book Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Books ships an update every 5 days, Book Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
