# Weekly Planner vs DoThisNow

The clearest difference is ads: Weekly Planner at none against DoThisNow's shown. Weekly Planner also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (35 vs 5). DoThisNow's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 69%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weekly Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and DoThisNow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weekly Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weekly Planner has 35 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Weekly Planner's written reviews are positive against 80% of DoThisNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weekly Planner ships an update fortnightly, DoThisNow weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
