# HOY vs Palhub

The clearest difference is rating: Palhub at 4.6 against HOY's 1.0. Palhub also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (48 vs 1). HOY's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Palhub sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. HOY asks for nothing beyond the download.

Palhub holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palhub has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HOY ships an update every 10 months, Palhub weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
