# Zazil vs Patch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Zazil at none against Patch's 4. Zazil also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Patch's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Patch sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Zazil asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zazil ships an update every 3 weeks, Patch every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
