# Marble vs Steady

The clearest difference is monetization model: Steady at free against Marble's freemium. Steady also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Marble sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Steady sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Marble against 5.0 for Steady. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively.

Marble ships an update fortnightly, Steady every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
