# Cue vs Recipe Keeper

The clearest difference is rating: Cue at 5.0 against Recipe Keeper's 4.5. Cue also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). Recipe Keeper's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Recipe Keeper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recipe Keeper has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Cue's written reviews are positive against 67% of Recipe Keeper's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
