# SISCOM vs Location IOT

The clearest difference is update cadence: SISCOM at every 5 days against Location IOT's every 10 months. Location IOT's advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SISCOM ships an update every 5 days, Location IOT every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
