# Welding MMA vs Sota Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: Welding MMA at free against Sota Connect's free with in-app purchases. Sota Connect's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Welding MMA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sota Connect sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Welding MMA against 4.9 for Sota Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sota Connect has 2.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Welding MMA's written reviews are positive against 98% of Sota Connect's.

Welding MMA ships an update every 3 weeks, Sota Connect fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
