# Tivi Network vs UrbanCineplex PLUS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UrbanCineplex PLUS at 100% against Tivi Network's 57%. UrbanCineplex PLUS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.5). Tivi Network's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tivi Network sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month and UrbanCineplex PLUS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UrbanCineplex PLUS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tivi Network has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Tivi Network's written reviews are positive against 100% of UrbanCineplex PLUS's.

Tivi Network ships an update every 3 weeks, UrbanCineplex PLUS fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
