# AWS vs StudyCloudTech

The clearest difference is update cadence: StudyCloudTech at every 4 months against AWS's every 9 months. AWS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StudyCloudTech sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AWS ships an update every 9 months, StudyCloudTech every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
