# Next vs NowTask

The clearest difference is update cadence: NowTask at every 10 days against Next's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per month and NowTask sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Next ships an update monthly, NowTask every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
