# Tolan vs Confide

The clearest difference is ads: Confide at none against Tolan's shown. Tolan's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 33%) and ratings volume (187K vs 8.2K). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tolan sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Confide sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Tolan against 4.7 for Confide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tolan has 187K ratings behind it against 8.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of Tolan's written reviews are positive against 33% of Confide's.

Tolan ships an update every 3 days, Confide every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
