# Tolan vs Nuthin

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nuthin at 100% against Tolan's 52%. Nuthin also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 30) and ads (none vs shown). Tolan's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (185K vs 1). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tolan sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Nuthin asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tolan holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tolan has 185K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Tolan's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nuthin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tolan ships an update every 4 days, Nuthin every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
