# Tolan vs LaterVape

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LaterVape at 100% against Tolan's 52%. LaterVape also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Tolan's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (187K vs 4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tolan sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and LaterVape sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LaterVape holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tolan has 187K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Tolan's written reviews are positive against 100% of LaterVape's.

Tolan ships an update every 3 days, LaterVape every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
