# BirdKam vs Gazing

The clearest difference is rating: Gazing at 4.1 against BirdKam's 1.0. Gazing also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). BirdKam's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
