# Flight Tracker vs AirwayControl

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AirwayControl at 100% against Flight Tracker's 29%. AirwayControl also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Flight Tracker's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (41 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and AirwayControl sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AirwayControl holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Tracker has 41 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Flight Tracker ships an update every 11 days, AirwayControl every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
