# Blip vs OncConnect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OncConnect at none against Blip's 8. Blip's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blip sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. OncConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Blip against 5.0 for OncConnect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blip has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Blip ships an update every 4 days, OncConnect every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
