# MiDNI vs Beans View

The clearest difference is rating: Beans View at 5.0 against MiDNI's 1.6. MiDNI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beans View holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MiDNI has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MiDNI ships an update every 3 months, Beans View every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
