# ReCat vs The Net Project

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Net Project at every 2 months against ReCat's every 5 months. ReCat's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ReCat against 5.0 for The Net Project. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReCat has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ReCat ships an update every 5 months, The Net Project every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
