# Body Story vs PureWaves

The clearest difference is update cadence: PureWaves at every 10 days against Body Story's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Body Story sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and PureWaves sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Body Story ships an update every 3 months, PureWaves every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
