# OmimO vs CELPIP Prep

The clearest difference is rating: CELPIP Prep at 4.8 against OmimO's 4.0. CELPIP Prep also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (29 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmimO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and CELPIP Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CELPIP Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CELPIP Prep has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OmimO ships an update every 2 weeks, CELPIP Prep weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
