# Random vs Let's Gather

The clearest difference is rating: Let's Gather at 5.0 against Random's 3.2. Random's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Let's Gather holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Random ships an update every 3 days, Let's Gather every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
