# Dino Points vs Star Chart

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dino Points at 100% against Star Chart's 67%. Star Chart's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dino Points sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Star Chart sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dino Points ships an update monthly, Star Chart every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
