# Journalmi vs PostPlan

The clearest difference is ads: Journalmi at none against PostPlan's shown. PostPlan's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Journalmi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PostPlan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Journalmi ships an update fortnightly, PostPlan weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
