# JointJar vs SolScope

The clearest difference is update cadence: JointJar at daily against SolScope's every 2 months. SolScope's advantage is iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JointJar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SolScope sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JointJar ships an update daily, SolScope every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
