# Beaker vs BigToo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BigToo at none against Beaker's 11. BigToo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months). Beaker's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beaker sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. BigToo asks for nothing beyond the download.

BigToo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beaker has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Beaker ships an update every 7 months, BigToo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
